Words blocking video

We were using Mediashout 4.5 to run a video the was imbedded in a Powerpoint presentation for our Baptismal service yesterday. Over the top of the video the words from the pervious lyric appeared. You could see the video in the background behind the words. This happened once before and looks really unprofessional. Please can you help?
