photoshop-style layers rather than bg and fg
In Mediashout, I would like to be able to overlay text and graphics with a background too. It would be great if users could have a background layer and then unlimited foreground layers as in photoshop. in simple mode, you could just have the two layers and then in advanced, you could add in the ability to create more custom layers.

If MediaComplete is really considering redeveloping the video engine for a later release, this would be a great capability to add to the new engine. -

I would love this and would make my work flow so much easier. I'd love to be easily able to order the layers however I'd want and set each layer to either be an image, video, animation, text, or website. -

I love to see these old topics brought back to the top of the forums, especially when it's such a great idea! I'm a photoshopper in my day job and layers in MS makes a lot of sense. -

1I've been wanting this as well. Especially to add BOXES behind text as in Power Point and ProPresenter so the text reads better when atop a motion background.
