I'm getting these two errors when trying to use the new songselect:
error: Media Shout is having trouble accessing Songselect Please contact Mediashout.com for help. http status:400
and then when it brings up the pop up box that should be log in:
Your authentication token was not valid, missing, already used, or expired. Try going back to the site you were on and connecting to SongSelect again.

HA, another topic. I just replied to your other response to the other topic.
This sounds like you may have entered your login information incorrectly. To reset this, go to Tools/Settings/Songs and just above the cancel button is the SongSelect button. Click this then click Disable SongSelect Integration. Then retest. -

I'm getting the same message:
error: Media Shout is having trouble accessing Songselect Please contact Mediashout.com for help. http status:400
However, I didn't get the pop-up box. I was just in the midst of using it to enter in several new songs to our library so I know the login info is correct.
The error occured after I finished editing a song and entered in a search for the next song on my list.
I tried closing mediashout and reopening. And my internet connection is "excellent". Any other suggestions?- view 3 more comments

I am having the same problem just spent and hour on the phone with John and still no solution. Removed Mcaffe, turned off firewall, tried everything I know to do and then some but it seems I am not the only one with this problem. So techie help guys do your stuff and get us an answer soon please. Had this issue all through our worship summit this past weekend and was having to copy and paste the songs from scratch to add songs. very tedious and time consuming.

Scott,
I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner, but given the fact MediaShout uses Internet Explorer and taking into account we were not able to use it to make the remote connection when I logged into your system, there may be some adjustments that need to be made. Please try the following and let me know if it helps.
* Closing the browser and opening Control Panel > Internet Options and going to the Advanced tab. From there, clicking the "Restore advanced settings button" and "Apply". Then clicking the "Reset.." button, and including Personal options in the reset.
* Then back into Internet Options and the Programs tab. Click the "Manage add-ons" button. Select "Toolbars and Extensions" and disable everything possible.
Also check to be sure "Content Advisor" is not turned on or enabled.
If you are still having issues, please give me another call and I will dig a bit deeper. -

Got it fixed not sure what exactly it was but I'm pretty sure. I went to Songselect signed in and under account managment found out ccli license number and put it in field at the top of the box that comes up when you go to tools, settings, songs. then clicked apply and tried again. did not work but when I closed and restarted Media shout it allowed me to sign in and started working properly, hope that this will help someone.

By the way I also changed the Http server login info to this address.

Scot,
If you had MediaShout open while you were resetting Internet Explorer, it was probably the restart of MediaShout that reset Explorer settings within MediaShout.
But regardless of what it was, I'm glad to hear you got it running. -

Once I changed the clocks to the correct time on the computer (for some reason our server doesn't like to keep time) I can now log on to Song Select and it appears to be working correctly.
-
Troy,
If you are on a Domain, it may explain the systems' unwillingness to keep the clock settings. Domains can be set to control the clocks on all the systems connected to it. In this case, correctly setting the clock on the Domain will usually resolve this. -

Had the same problem...internet time wasnt keeping up! Good and easy fix!
