Play order is not exporting in a song deck text file
When exporting a song deck text file, MS 4.0 no longer generates the correct play order. Why is this? I re-create lyrics for our Video director on a regular basis. It would be very helpful if the play order that is listed in MS transferred to this text file.

I see what you mean. I'm not sure why it does this. Play orders are not set in stone and will change from one worship leader to another so it just may be how this is set up.I will turn this in and see if we can get a definitive answer. I changed the wording of your title for easier searching by others with the same question.

wehoagies,
I was unable to get the play order when exporting a "song deck text file" but I was able to get the play order when printing a song in v4 from the song deck. (One of the options for print is the play order.) I am unsure if it's a bug or if its not available in v4. I will report it as a "Problem" because the play order shows up in v3.5.
Please let us know how we can help.
Thanks,
Myrna E. -

Hello MediaShout employees. This is still an issue in build 158. I found it out during the first service after upgrading to Windows 7 and importing the Song Deck text file from the previous installation. Luckely I also had a backup of the song library database file. I think it should be at least optional to export the play order also to the song deck text file.

I will add this to beta because it still shows this behavior. I will also include it in my weekly report.

Did this ever get resolved? I have build 223 and still have the same problem (at least I think it is the same). It does export a play order, BUT it is inaccurate ... typically it is just a list of the stanzas, but not a play order. I tried printing it (to a pdf) and some of the play orders just said blank-blank-blank, etc. That's not very useful. Also, unlike others, I did not have an issue with the actual play orders - they are good - it is just the exporting of them that is the problem.
I am working with a worship leader who likes to see these as a Word doc., so it is essential to my workflow. It always worked fine when I had v3.5, but as soon as I went to 4.5 the problem developed.
Thanks for your help! -

It still isn't working correctly in the current Beta version either. John I added this back to the Beta side again. I don't know what happened to it over there but I couldn't find it.

Thanks Ken. I will turn it in again to the developer ASAP.
